Jason David Frank, who played the Green Power Ranger Tommy Oliver on "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers," has died. He was 49.

Even though Jason David Frank’s manager Justine Hunt did not give the cause of death, but, he confirmed the star’s death yesterday.

But asked for “privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being.”

TMZ earlier reported that Frank's second wife, Tammie Frank, filed for divorce from him in August.

Frank is survived by four children; one from his marriage with Tammie Frank and three from his first marriage to Shawna Frank.

Jason David Frank was a practitioner of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Reports state that, between 2009 and 2010, he had fought many MMA bouts.

Walter Emmanuel Jones, who co-starred with Frank in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, wrote on Instagram, that he couldn't believe it.

The news of the "Power Rangers" icon's death has come as a shock to millions of fans around the world, who tuned in over the last three decades to see Frank's portrayal of the Green Ranger Tommy Oliver.
